A dog and a garden

If you have a garden, take into account that your puppy will dig up the prettiest plants; and those he will not be able to dig up, he will cartainly eat. What is more a dog has a tendency to relieve himself on conifers. Surely it will pass with age, all the same the plants will not survive. If you have a bitch, she will spare your trees, however, there will be burned circles on the grass.

The tree you have just planted will soon be in the dog's muzzle - he will be happy to bring you something you had lost (in his view.)

Of the all plants in your garden, only a few will probably survive the run down the fence unless you have a large hedge.

Bitches might have imaginary pregnancies after being on heat. It means that in order to prepare her lair the dog will dig the preetiest flower beds, just like the professional bulldozer.

It may happen that your new household member will nibble at blades of grass. If you spray your plants, do remember that the dog cannot be in the vicinity of the sprayed part of your garden for a few days.

Pet shops offer various preparations which scare a dog away. What you are supposed to do is spray the favoutite plants. Such preparations cause the dog to go around unless the first rain which washes off the smell begins to fall.

Destroying greenery is very characteristic of dogs. As regards Saba, she ate all the oak trees in the first few weeks. What is more she was burning with hostility to larches - she pulled about all the twigs she was able to reach.

Nowadays, her behaviour is getting better and better. She stays away from the plants (with the exception of crocuses in the spring,) however, the grass looks awfully. Sometimes we fall into some pits in the yard which appear unawares but fortunately it happens only twice a year.
